I made it to three Goodwill’s again today but the last one was really rushed and I didn’t get to look for too long. I did ok overall, but I wound up keeping a lot of items this time. My son is very happy about that since he is the lucky recipient of most of it.
My best finds today were:
The Jello Jiggler molds – I paid .97 cents for the beans one and listed it for $25, .97 cents for the Halloween one and listed it for $20, and $1.97 for the alphabet one and listed it for $12.
I always pick those Jello molds up when I see them and they always sell for a decent price.
The Hallmark Christmas animated plush musical decorations – I paid $3.97 each for them and listed the one with the penguins for $45 and the one with the snowman playing the piano for $45 also.
Although I have several of these annual Hallmark staples myself I never thought about selling them. I’m glad I looked them up today at the store – I’ll be keeping an eye out for more with Christmas approaching.
And the Chantilly Lane Musical Bears – they were $1.97 each and I got four of the cute bears. They listed for $35 each.
As I said I wound up keeping a lot more things than usual today. One was because I decided i wanted it (the Ikea Closet organizer) and the rest (the comic books, the Curious George doll, the puzzle, a car, a plane, and Betty Boop) weren’t worth listing.
The bottom line:
Total buy cost: $46.34
Total Sales Value: $632.99
Total Net Profit: $411.25
Not a bad day, but not a great day either.
