Hello! A small haul today but a haul nonetheless! I only had time to swing by two stores (the Menonite thrift and the Goodwill right nearby) after my coffee date this morning and a quick grocery stop to fill a couple of orders.
Since there isn’t much to go over I’ll share all of it:
First from the Menonite store:
The Larry from Veggie Tales Plush – paid 50 cents and listed for $8 (probably should have left this guy on the shelf since he will only make me $1 at most).
The Reynolds Handi Vac Food Sealer – paid $2.50 and listed it for $20. I have sold four of these over the years so I know it will sell pretty fast.
The Reynolds Handi Vac bags – these are a new one for me and going by what other sellers have them priced at and the super low rank they were a good find. I am guessing the high price is because they are no longer made and you can re-use them probably. So I followed the other FBA sellers lead on this on and priced them for $35 each (paid $1.50 each).
From the Goodwill:
Thomas Kinkade Christmas Carol Clock – paid $2.97 and listed for $35.
The wooden puzzle boat – paid $1.97 and listed for $19.99.
The High Heel Cake Server in Cinderella pattern – paid $3.97 and listed for $35.
The Boyds bear – paid $3.97 and listed for $35.
I also found more of the Stampin Up! sets – I paid $2.97 for one and $3.97 for the other three. Listed them for $8, $20, $35, and $35.
My only dud was another Stampin up set that I didn’t realize wasn’t a complete set and was just a mix of various stamps from different sets. I didn’t check them today because the ones yesterday were all complete and marked as they should have been. It cost me $3.97 and I’m just going to hang onto them in case we want to do some stamping here.
The bottom line:
Total items listed: 12
Total Buy Cost: $34.74
Total Sales Value: $310.99
Total Net Profit: $194.92
I spent about an hour total shopping and listing (no listings to create…woohoo!) giving me a potential hourly rate of $194.92.
Tomorrow is a very short morning for me. Because of our town fair’s opening day the kids have early dismissal and for my Kindergartener this means a VERY short time at school. I’m going to try to jet on over to the Goodwill that is next to the by weight outlet and make a quick trip before I have to be over to pick him up. Hopefully I’ll have one last day of goodies to share with you then. After that I’ll be “off” until Monday from thrifting because my mornings will be spent chaperoning fair trips with the kids classes.
See you tomorrow!
