It seems that I just can’t stay away! I managed to pop into a thrift store before and after my flu shot appointment today and found a few things to sell. Not a bunch but enough.
Here is what I picked up:
The Night Mare Webkin Horse – paid 97 cents and listed for $24.99.
The Star Wars Studio set – paid $2.97 and listed for $15.
The Bringing Up Boys Video Seminar – paid $12.97 and listed for $75.
The Aristocat Marie plush cat – paid $4.97 and listed for $45.
The Shamu Plush – paid $2.97 and listed for $35.
The Fife and Drum ornament set – paid $2.97 and listed for $45.
The Cuddly Quilt Kids kit – paid $2.97 and listed for $45.
The Smashminton Set – I didn’t even know smashminton was a thing! LOL! Paid $2.97 and listed for $35.
The big Star Wars guy you see on the table I paid $2.97 for and could have listed for $35 but instead of gave him to my son. I couldn’t resist… he has a light saber on the wall in his room and this guy makes a great addition to his collection.
The bottom line:
Total items listed: 8
Total Buy Cost: $33.76
Total Sales Value: $319.99
Total Net Profit: $209.83
I spent about 2 hours total shopping and listing (only because I had to research and create listings for half of it) giving me a potential hourly wage today of $104.91.
Tomorrow I really won’t be thrifting unless it is rainy and the kids school thing gets cancelled. Otherwise I will be spending my entire morning watching first my son and then my daughter participate with their classes. I’ll probably use the afternoon to catch up on items that have been waiting for hazmat clearance and boxing it all up to go out to the warehouse.
And I forgot the kids have off Monday and I have parent visitation days at two classes next week so the only days looking really good for thrifting are Wednesday and Friday. If I am feeling adventurous though I may try a small trip with the kids on Monday.
Have a fabulous weekend and I will be back at some point next week!
