Don't Miss

Today’s haul – October 19th

Hello!

I think this is probably going to be my only haul this week but at least I got some shopping in today! The rest of the week is packed with school activities and any free time I get I need to devote to sending in the last two weeks of purchases to Amazon. And did I mention that my kids have a half day Thursday and off on Friday? Again?! So, I am hoping to use this week to clean up some messes and then start fresh next week (around the Halloween activities, of course).

Anyway, back to today. I hit two Goodwills and the Mennonite thrift and did pretty well. I had a much needed coffee date first thing in the morning so only got in about an hour and a half of shopping but it was enough.

Here are the best finds of the day:

The Wilton Power Ranger cake pan – paid $3.97 and listed for $45.

The McFlurry Maker – paid $3.97 and listed for $45.

The Jamie Moyer Phillies Bobblehead – paid $3.97 and listed for $45.

The Boyds bunny – paid $1.97 and listed for $25 (I don’t buy these that often because the stores have caught on to the value and started pricing them high but for some reason this little guy wasn’t so I grabbed him up).

The Snoopy with candy corn plush – paid $1 and listed for $25.

The Pluto plush – paid $3.97 and listed for $55.

The talking Arthur plush – paid $3.97 and listed for $45.

The Linny (Wonder Pets) plush – paid $1.97 and listed for $35.

The Madagascar Alex plush – paid 50 cents and listed for $35.

The Stampin up Set – paid $2.97 and listed for $35 (I have already sold about 4 of the sets of these I picked up a few weeks back for $35-$45 each so I will definitely grab them as I see them).

The Little Mermaid Pillow – paid $3 and listed for $45.

The Lighted holiday grocery store- paid $3.97 and listed for $45.

I also grabbed a bag of plush for $4.97 and listed two for $35 each giving me a net profit of $46.66 on the bag.

There were a few duds:

The Cake decorator pens – paid $1.97 and decided to keep them.

The Tigger baby musical toy – paid $1 and couldn’t sell because once again I failed to remember baby items MUST be new. I get caught up in plush and forget…lol.

The Tweety Santa plush – he had a hug rip that I didn’t notice so I tossed him. Paid $2.

Todays bottom line:

Total items listed: 17

Total buy cost: $42.49

Total sales value: $$595

Total Net Profit: $406.90.

Not bad for 2 1/2 hours (total) work today!

Hopefully I’ll be back soon but in case it isn’t this week… have a great rest of the week and happy thrifting!!
