Happy Friday! I spent my morning thrifting and my afternoon listing (even got caught up from yesterday). Now all I have to do this weekend is box it all up so it can go out on Monday.
Here are some more goodies from yesterdays haul:
FAO Schwarz Frog – paid 50 cents and listed for $55.
Mickeys Pals Minnie Mouse with Ice Skates duffle bag – paid $3.97 and listed for $55.
Precious Moments Musical bear – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
Dakin Christmas Cat – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
Dumbo plush – paid $1.99 and listed for $75.
Folkmanis firefly puppet – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
Vermont Teddy Bear – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
Space Jamz Taz – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
Hello Kitty and Keroppi Puffalumps – oaid 50 cents each and listed both for $45 each.
Build a bear puppy – paid $1.99 and listed him for $35 and his shirt for $10.
Bugs bunny 50th anniversary plush – paid 97 cents and listed for $35.
I wound up keeping the Eagles Michael Vick plush for my dog Sophie… both because I hate the Philadelphia Eagle’s and it is funny to see her chewing on one and because it is Mike Vick so it is extra funny to see him chewed on by a do. It’s the little things… lol.
Now onto todays haul. I hit 4 Goodwill’s and the Menonite Thrift store. One of the Goodwill’s even had the stuff I had to put back yesterday still sitting on a shelf so I grabbed it today. Score!
Here is the best from today:
The Littlest Pet Shop -figure – paid $3.97 and listed for $25.
The Nemo Border – paid $1.97 and listed for $25.
The Madeline Circus Set – paid $1.97 and listed for $25.
The Home School Grade 6 Bible course – I paid $2.97 for this and listed it for $55. Inside the box besides the complete set was a bunch of Grade 5 books so I wound up listing them too (one for $15 and three for $10).
I came across a bunch of brand new flags today and quickly grabbed all of them. I paid $1.97 each for them and listed 5 for $35 each, 5 for $20 each, and 1 for $16.
The Party Perk coffee percolator – paid $3.25 and listed for $45.
The Shrek 2 Pinball – paid $2.97 and listed for $45.
The Thomas Play Tent – paid $4.97 and listed for $24.99.
The Ocean Animal Stencils turned out to be a nice find. I honestly wasn’t sure but for $1.97 I figured I could just keep them for the kids. Instead I listed them because they were going for $45.
The Yukon Cornelius plush – paid $3.25 and listed for $75.
The WowWee Lion Cub – I always grab these when I find them. I got this one for $1.97 and listed for $75.
The Delmonte Christmas Yumkin Set – I got two of these new in the bag for $1.50 each and listed for $35 each.
The Pluto Walking Pup – paid $3.25 and listed for $55.
The Duck Dynasty Uncle Si duck – paid $1.97 and listed for $45.
The Large Keroppi Plush – paid $2.97 and listed for $55.
I also picked up some grab bags again:
Bag #1 I paid $3.97 for, listed 1 item, and will net $6.11.
Bag #2 I paid $2.97 for, listed NOTHING, and will lose $2.97.
Bag #3 I paid $2.97 for , listed one item, and will net $2.86.
Bag #4 I paid $2.97 for , listed one item, and will net $27.08.
And Bag 5 was a bag of rubber stamps. I paid $2.97 and only 4 of the stamps were worth listing. Still I should net $36.20 on the bag once they sell so it was worth picking up and sorting through.
The bottom line (for everything I listed today):
Total items listed: 53
Total Buy Cost: $96.33
Total Sales Value: $1710.47
Total Net Proft: $1141.75
I spent 3 hours thrifting this morning and 4 hours listing this afternoon giving me a potential hourly rate today of $163.10. It’s funny today didn’t seem like such a long day…. but 7 hours is nothing to sneeze at!
At some point this weekend I will get everything boxed and labeled and pickup ordered for UPS to take everything over to Amazon on Monday. For my three days of work this week I will be shipping out $4437.89 in inventory and will profit $2908.19 on it once it sells (and it should sell in the next couple months).
I also got a sizeable reimbursement for items Amazon lost this week so that was nice. They have a new distribution center most of my items are now being directed to and lets just say it doesn’t seem to be going very smoothly for them. They seem to lose entire boxes from multi box shipments. Luckily, they are great at taking responsibility and reimbursing for the loss and this week alone I received almost $1000 in reimbursements. And that is just from items they lost last week. It seems every week I have been seeing $400 to $500 in just reimbursement money alone. Not ideal as I would rather the process run smoothly but I have no doubt they will have the kinks at the new center worked out soon and in the meantime I appreciate them covering the losses so quickly.
Have a fabulous weekend! See you Monday!!
