The stores were brimming with items today and I found a lot of great things to sell. The Goodwill’s around here are having a big 50 percent off sale tomorrow and I think they were have been working hard ahead of it to get things on the shelves.
I hit 4 Goodwill’s and the Menonite thrift store and as you can see from the picture above did very well!

The day wasn’t without duds:
The Radio control snowmobile ($6.97) I couldn’t find anywhere else, Jello Jiggler Holiday mold ($2.97) was missing a box of jello, and the Santa cookie set ($1.97) I liked so I decided to keep for our own holiday use.
The Disney sugar and cream set was broken in the box ($2.97) and the Wrinkles puppet (50 cents) was stained and missing a nose (which you would have thought I would have noticed…lol).
The bottom line:
Total items listed: 50
Total Buy Cost: $80.68
Total Sales Value: $1617.88
Total Net Profit: $1101.39
I spent 3 hours shopping and 2 hours listing giving me a potential hourly wage of $220.27.
Tomorrow I’ll only have time for a quick trip in the morning before I help with 2nd grade and I also have to fit in a quick stop by Weis to fill a grocery order. I won’t be much taking advantage of the 50% off sale but that is ok because I also won’t be dealing with the crowds that are sure to be there.
Have a great night!
