I’m back at it again! All three kids left for school as planned and I hit the road. I stopped by 3 Salvation Armies and 1 Savers. As you can see in the picture I picked up quite a bit of things to sell!
The best of the bunch:
The Bendable Kermit – paid $1.99 and listed for $35.
The Gund Harry Potter owl – I bet if my husband is reading this he knows the Owl’s name. 🙂 I paid $1.99 and listed for $55 which makes me like Harry Potter a little more!
The Grams Bear Care Bear – This was a great find and something I didn’t even know existed. I thought it was a knock off until I saw the Care Bear emblem and then checked the tag. I paid $2.99 and listed for $75.
The Lady and the Tramp Lady plush – paid $3.99 and listed for $35.
The Rainbow Brite – This is my favorite find today, hands down. She was my co-pilot all morning in the car but I think I am ready to part with her now. I paid $2.99 and listed for $75.
The Build a Bear Dog – paid $4.99 and listed the dog for $20 and the shoes for $10. I kept the pajamas for my daughters collection.
The Build a Bear bunnies – I paid $4.99 each. I listed one for $20 and one for $45 and a pair of bunny slippers for $15. The rest of the clothes are being kept.
The Mooska Doll – paid $7.99 which is a little steep but she was new in box. Listed for $45.
The Savers had a large amount of Wilton pans again. I wonder where they are all coming from? I happily grabbed them up since they are steady sellers. The best ones were the 3D teddy bear pan in the original box (paid $2.99 and listed for $45), The gumball machine, Thomas, and Ghost (paid $2.99 each and listed for $19.99, $35, and $19.99), and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (paid $2.99 and listed for $45).
I also found another tub of Build a Bear clothes. This time mostly boy clothes which I knew Aidan would be excited to have if I didn’t sell. I paid $19.99 and listed the soccer cleats ($15), The Camo Tent ($45), The sandals ($15), the Khaki pants, Black jeans, and blue jeans ($10 each), and the WNBA set ($35). So I will more than make my money back and my son got a raincoat and boots, two soccer uniforms, and other assorted gear for his beloved Brownie bear.
The Sylvester plush – paid $1.99 and listed for $45.
The only dud was the Rarity plush – I didn’t realize it when I picked her up but her hair is all melted so I trashed her. Paid $1.99.
There were a few that I need to research and list so I put them in that pile to work on later. That huge Flounder plush is going to add a lot to todays total. It is bigger than any listed on Amazon and in mint condition so I will probably list it between $75 and $95.
The bottom line:
Total items listed: 37
Total buy cost: $103.71
Total sales value: $996.50
Total net profit; $600.27
Definitely a good day!
One more thing before I sign off for the night. When you send in shipments to Amazon (especially multi box shipments) be sure to follow up on them and double check that everything was received. Two boxes from my last shipment were lost somewhere in the warehouses and they have already reimbursed me about $800 for the missing inventory. If they find them later they will take the refund back and put them in my inventory (which sometimes happens) but more often than not they never turn up and it is nice to get paid without having to wait for items to sell! 🙂 They do request that you provide invoices for the missing items but once you explain that you do not have them as they are collectible items obtained on the second hand market they are really good at processing the reimbursement based on whatever value they assign. This can be less than you had the item listed but a lot of times can be even more and seems to shake out about right in the end.
Ok, signing off now! Look for one more update tomorrow and then the weekend is here! Yay!!
