Late post tonight because I took my little guy out shopping after school with some money he got from the tooth fairy. I did hit a Saver’s and two Salvation Armies and I found some good stuff today!
The best of the bunch:
The Macy’s Kermit – paid $3.99 and listed for $45.
The Bratz Petz cat – still think these are creepy but I pick them up since they sell at a good price. Paid 49 cents and listed for $35.
ET – I was pretty much doing cartwheels in the aisle when I found a vintage ET. And then I found two more. At the same store! It is a wonder I wasn’t escorted out by security. LOL. I never had one of these guys and kind of wanted to keep one but I am trying to be disciplined and listed all three for $45 each (paid 99 cents each).
The Bubble Guppies Bubble Puppy – paid 99 cents and listed for $19.99.
The Hello Kitty – paid $2.99 and listed for $45.
The Bear in the Big Blue House Mouse – paid $4.99 and listed for $55.
The vintage Knickerbocker Goofy – paid 49 cents and listed for $45.
The only real dud of the day was the tub of Build a Bear clothes. Technically if I wanted to create a ton of listings they would not be duds but I opted to keep most of the clothes for the kids dolls. I spotted a bunch of Eagles and Phillies shirts in there and knew that this was quite the find up here in New England. I paid $24.99 for the whole tub and listed the cheer outfit for $35 and two pairs of shoes for $10 each. The rest my very happy kids now own. So, still a great deal for tons of outfits!
The bottom line:
Total items listed: 20
Total Buy Cost: $56.30
Total Sales Value: $567.27
Total Net Profit: $359.44
This doesn’t include the full bag of stuff I need to research. It is a busy day so I stashed that in the basement to work on another day. Now, I’m off to go hang with our neighbors while the kids enjoy some pool time. See you back here tomorrow!
