Don't Miss

This Weeks Haul – September 6th and 7th

Hello all!

I know I wasn’t going to be thrifting this week but I find it almost impossible to pass by a store when I am over that way anyway. I made a few stops Tuesday and Wed once the kids got back to school after the holiday weekend and it was definitely worth my time.

The best of the bunch:

The Coke Monopoly – paid $3.99 and listed for $35. I really thought this would be worth more since it was still sealed in the original shrink wrap but still not a bad profit.

The Patron Bar Runner – I saw this for $2.99 and wasn’t sure if it was valuable but it was cool so I tossed it in the cart. Paid $2.99 and listed for $45.

The R2D2 playdoh set – paid $1.99 and listed for $40.

The US Air Craft Carrier model set – paid $5.99 and listed for $75.

The Mr. Potato Head Silly Suitcase – paid $2.99 and listed for $59.95 (matched another seller).

The Fisher Price 1979 Drum and Musical instrument set – Such a cool vintage find! Paid $7.99 and listed for $75.

The Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 Nintendo DS – I picked up two of these new in package for $3.99 each. They are listing for $64.99 each. I am definitely going back to see if there are more. They got in a ton of this kind of stuff the other day.

The Revell Star Wars Droid Tri Fighter Kit – paid $9.99 and listed for $95.

The Club Penguin Pet Puffle – picked up two for $1.99 each and listed for $35 each.

The Talking Little miss sunshine plush – paid $1.99 and listed for $45.

The Swan Lake Barbie Plush Unicorn – paid $3.99 and listed for $55.

The Star Trek Vulcan Salute Plush Hand – paid $1.99 and listed for $35.

No duds this time! Woohoo!

The bottom line:

Total items listed: 83

Total buy cost: $252.44

Total sales value: $2290.30

Total Net Profit: $1409.55

Not bad for two days work!

Now today was supposed to be the day I finished up listing and get everything boxed up but once again it doesn’t look like that will happen. Last week I was delayed by my laptop giving out on me and today when I tried to have Inventory Lab create the shipments I got an error message. I have a support ticket in to them now and hopefully it is figured out soon but it is looking like I won’t be getting out my boxes this week. I don’t want to do it tomorrow and have to live around the boxes all weekend so I guess I’ll be working on it Monday instead.

So… it seems I now have a little more time freed up to thrift… see you soon! 🙂
